Great success for ESVV2015 – EPIZONE!
More than 400 persons from 49 countries attended this international congress, held in Montpellier from 31 August to 3 September.

II Workshop on "Modellings and Simulation of Epidemics"
Epidemics are one of the most important concerns of the governments, Human and Animal Health authorities and Society in general. During the last years the appearance and diffusion of emerging and re-emerging diseases such as VIH, SARS, H1N1 influenza, Nipah virus, Ebola, bluetongue, ASFV or AHSV has promoted the development of simulation models aimed to facilitate the complex decision making process to control and eradicate disease.
The aim of this workshop is to organize an exploratory meeting about new challenges in the modelling and simulation of Epidemics (for human or/and animals), with senior and junior experts invited by the Organizing Committee.
They will present their research in the field and there will be a round table discussing about new challenges.
Sharing and developing of new ideas and the promotion of new collaborations will be the final goal of the event.
