Twinning Laboratories OIE

 

SUAT research team signed the first twinning agreement between OIE certified laboratories. 

On April 1, 2011 began the agreement between the research group led by Prof. JM Sanchez-Vizcaino (reference laboratory of the OIE for African Swine Fever and African Horse Sickness) and the NationalVeterinary Research Institute for Virology and Microbiology (NRIVVaM) in Russia.

This twinning project will seek to improve the diagnostic capabilities of NRIVVaM in African Swine Fever at a level comparable to the standards of the OIE RL.
