Franz J. Conraths will give a talk entitled "Epidemiological analysis of outbreaks of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza, subtype H5N8, in Germany" next thurday 16th of April at 10:30 am in the Veterinary Medicine Faculty of the Complutense University organised by the SUAT team.

FLI maintains an epidemiological advisory group that investigates disease outbreaks together with the local veterinary authority. In the case of H5N8, the advisory group was involved in the epidemiological work-up of all outbreaks in Germany and cooperated with colleagues in the UK, the Netherlands and Italy on the epidemiology of H5N8 in Europe.
