With the recent detection of Schmallenberg virus using metagenomics techniques, many doubts have appeared about that method. Prof Jose Manuel Sánchez -Vizcaíno and Consuelo Rubio answer all these questions in a divulgative paper published by the Official College of Veterinarians of Madrid.
